Missing my connection twice !

Aarschot – NMBS station
I took a train to Leuven to connect with a Leuven – Antwerpen Intercity
My train was late, I missed the connection !
Instead I took a train to Aarschot to connect with an Aarschot – Antwerpen Intercity
My train was late, I missed the connection!
Instead I took an all station stopping train to Antwerpen !
Luckily I left an hour earlier than strictly necessary, and still easily made my connection to Amsterdam
